2× Grammy Award-winning. Near Philadelphia. Where legendary recordings are made a website as cinematic as the music created inside it.
Morningstar Studios is operated by Glenn Barratt, a 2× Grammy Award-winning recording engineer with decades of multi-platinum experience. Located near Philadelphia, the studio offers specialised multi-track digital and analog recording, professional mixing, and world-class mastering all within a space designed to inspire creativity and deliver sonic excellence.
We created a website as atmospheric as the studio itself dark, immersive, gold-lit, and completely unlike the cookie-cutter sites that dominate the recording studio market. Equipment specifications are presented with the reverence of a fine wine list. The studio tour page was built as an interactive room-by-room experience that lets artists explore the space before they arrive.
Session booking enquiries increased 280% post-launch, with international artist enquiries accounting for 40% of new business up from near zero before the website redesign.

Glenn Barratt's credentials 2× Grammy wins, decades of multi-platinum engineering were not visible when artists searched for Philadelphia-area recording studios. The previous website looked like any generic home studio page, completely failing to communicate the world-class facility and engineering talent that was actually available. National and international artists were booking elsewhere.
We led with the Grammy credentials at every level hero section, navigation, footer, and every service description. The website's visual language (vintage gold, deep black, analog warmth) evokes the golden era of recording while the technical specifications speak to modern artists. A "Studio Tour" experience with high-resolution room photography and equipment detail shots lets prospective clients fall in love with the space before they book.
Session booking enquiries grew 280%. International artist enquiries rose from negligible to 40% of new business. Morningstar Studios was shortlisted in a music industry publication for "Best Studio Web Presence" within its first year online the first time the studio had received any digital recognition despite its decades of musical heritage.
